Dorisol Mimosa Hotel Restaurants and Bars

In our restaurants you will find many delicacies that Madeira is famous for, not forgetting the Madeira wine, of course!

There is a wide selection in our different restaurants which should please everyone. From Regional to International cuisine with Portuguese, Italian, Indian and Scandinavian food, the choice is yours!

The Europa is an ample restaurant with natural light and tasteful decoration where guests from the Dorisol Mimosa hotel can have their breakfast or their main meals for lunch and dinner should you choose half or full board. There is a nice terrace too should you choose to eat ‘al fresco’ during the summer.

The Fora d’Oras Restaurant and Bar is an elegant and modern restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as an evening bar, serving drinks and cocktails until 2 am. The cuisine is creative including Indian, Portuguese and Italian dishes.

The Mermaid Restaurant is an international cuisine restaurant located by the Dorisol Buganvilia hotel.

The Little Mermaid is our Scandinavian cuisine restaurant if you are missing the treats back home or if you just feel like to trying something different and new. The restaurant is à la carte and open only for dinner from 6 pm to 11 pm

For an evening cocktail the Mermaid Bar is opened 6 pm to 10 pm on the Ground Floor.

For refreshment or a light snack by the pool, we have the Terrace Bar open from 10 am until 6 pm in winter and 7 pm in the summer.

The swimming pool features the Terrace Bar, located by the main swimming pool and serving refreshments, light meals and snacks. It opens its doors right after breakfast time, at 10 am and it is open until 6 pm in winter and 7 pm in summer.

The Piano Bar is where all evening entertainment takes place besides cocktails, happy hour and other activities. The daily evening shows start at 9:30 pm. For more information on shows and activities, please check with reception.
